Who We Are
Hello! We are Gina, Kari, and Patty. Three women united by yarn, and this is our story:
Knitting is the “zen” part of our lives, and getting together to knit with friends is our bubble in days of chaos and stress. One day, we were—just for a change—knitting and sipping coffee, and we realized that all three of us shared the same curiosity to learn more about the process. We wanted to dive deeper into dyeing, and out of nowhere, we started imagining combinations we’d love to knit.
What if we learn? What if we get into dyeing? All it took was a glance and we burst out into laughter. That moment marked the beginning of this new journey. We boarded the first plane heading to Arequipa (we promise it was almost that quick). We arrived on Friday at 6 am, learned from Andes Dyes, enjoyed Argentine bbq, lots of queso helado, and by Sunday at 4 pm, we were already heading back to Lima with a huge list of tasks and an even bigger list of patterns to knit with our own yarns.
That’s how this beautiful partnership was born.
Dyes
All our yarns are hand-dyed using traditional artisanal methods. We use eco-friendly acid dyes that are safe for the environment and non-toxic for skin contact.
